High-Voltage Batteries
Our company has developed and successfully installs high-voltage batteries based on lithium iron phosphate cells with a capacity of 314Ah. The cells are mounted in cassettes on a closed rack without metal enclosures, which simplifies access and visual monitoring of the battery. Additionally, this reduces the battery’s weight and cost. These batteries are compatible with Deye inverters.
Technical advantages:
Cells
• The 314Ah cell capacity increases the battery life cycle compared to systems with 100Ah cells. Under the same load, a battery with 100Ah cells performs 3 charge-discharge cycles, while a 314Ah cell battery performs only one. Thus, the lifespan of such a battery is three times longer than that of a battery with 100Ah cells.
• Before assembly, all cells undergo pre-balancing. During this process, cells are balanced, and any cells whose charge-discharge cycles differ from the median trend by more than 10% after balancing are rejected.
Slave Battery Blocks
• The cells are mounted in cassettes on a closed rack with transparent walls and no metal enclosures, which facilitates access and visual inspection. In most emergency situations, the issue is visually detectable, which speeds up diagnostics. Using cassettes allows replacing individual cells without replacing the entire block, thus speeding up battery repairs.
• The maximum number of cells in a block is 18, which allows one block to have a voltage of 57.6V, helping to achieve higher battery power compared to systems with 51.2V blocks.
• The absence of metal enclosures reduces the overall weight of the battery.
Control Unit
• The battery control unit has several advantages compared to those traditionally used in Ukraine. The maximum voltage for this type of battery is 1000V, which reduces the number of control units required when installing large battery systems with capacities starting from 300kW.
• The balancing current of battery blocks is 0.2A, compared to 0.05A in traditional batteries. Thus, ADS-manufactured batteries operate more evenly.
Economic Advantages
• Due to the lack of enclosures, the cost per kWh of a slave battery block is lower than that of batteries traditionally used in Ukraine.
• The ability to assemble batteries up to 1000V reduces expenses on purchasing control units (master BMS), which also impacts the final battery cost.
• Battery installation is performed by our technical specialists, eliminating the risk of incorrect connection. Therefore, if the battery malfunctions, warranty claims will not be denied due to improper installation. In other words, in case of a malfunction, our company guarantees responsibility for resolving the issue.
• The batteries are compatible with all hybrid Deye inverters.

Batteries Based on 100Ah Cells

Batteries based on 100Ah cells are also
• compatible with all hybrid Deye inverters
• undergo balancing before being assembled into blocks
• blocks have a voltage of 51.2V, which is traditionally used in high-voltage batteries in Ukraine
• slave blocks can optionally be equipped with a forced ventilation unit, which is crucial when installing the battery in the same unit as the inverter
• each block’s balancing current is 0.2A
• the maximum number of slave blocks per control unit is 18, whereas Deye allows a maximum of 12
• blocks are installed in a standard U-rack
